Each of the 16 bedrooms – all named after trees in the Lake District, are beautifully and individually decorated with tasteful period styling. Four poster beds, deep colours, silk cushions and whirlpools in the bathrooms are just some of the features. In each room, there’s a personalised letter welcoming the guests, with refreshments and chocolates thoughtfully laid out.
