Milnthorpe B&B

Milnthorpe is a large village straddling the A6 road. It was originally a port, using the River Bela and estuary, which is now only navigable to Storth. Milnthorpe remains an important business centre. It contains several old inns and has a market every Friday. To the north is Levens Hall, known for its topiary. As a convenient stop off point on the A6 for traffic going north to the Lake District, the towns tourism and hospitality business has been busy for many years. Milnthorpe has a number of b&bs (bed and breakfasts) within a few miles, also guesthouses, inns and hotels.
