Milnthorpe Hotels

Milnthorpe is on the A6, close to junctions 35 and 36 on the M6 motorway at its main points of access to the southern Lake District Area. It is an old village with limestone buildings and narrow lanes and alleyways. It was an important medieval market town, second only to Kendal, 7 miles to the north. A pleasant village, it has pretty cottages and attractive shops, a good range of pubs and restaurants, a caf, tearoom and takeaway. Hotel and inn accommodation is available mostly in the village or the others within a radius of a few miles of Milnthorpe.
