Maryport Hotels

Maryport is a seaside town 7 km north of Workington on the Cumbrian Solway Firth Coast. Maryport was built on a grid pattern in the 18th century. The harbour was recently refurbished and accommodates pleasure craft. Visit the nearby Aquarium and the Maritime Museum. On the north side of the harbour is the Senhouse Roman Museum with a very well preserved collection of Roman sculptures. There are a number of hotels and inns both in Maryport and the wider area, stretching south to hotels in Workington, north to Allonby and inland towards Cockermouth.
