Haverthwaite Cottages

Haverthwaite is close to the A590 south of Newby Bridge and en route to the foot of Windermere. The village is now largely agricultural, leisure and high technology based, but once it was more industrial and significant in the development of ironmaking and gunpowder. There is limited self catering accommodation available in Haverthwaite but more within the wider area that includes Newby Bridge and Ulverston along the A590.
