The Pottery is a great place to visit! Run by Sculptor & Ceramic Artist Wyn Abbot, The Pottery is a treat for your creative senses. The Pottery has a wonderful selection of Wyn’s work for sale which is inspired by Ancient Cultures world wide.

If you have never visited a real working studio then make sure you add this to your list of things to do, you can watch sculptures being made, learn about the process, watch pots being made on the wheel.

If you have ever fancied having a go at sculpting or making a pot on the wheel then this is the place to go – with a range of courses and drop in sessions there is something for everyone.

Wyn runs a Pottery club for children aged 5 – 11 and one for young people aged 12 – 15. In addition to the ceramics The Pottery studio runs a range of courses including: glass, jewellery, art, creative writing, bookbinding and more. During school holidays and weekends there are daily drop in sessions where you can come and have a go at a whole range of pottery techniques.
