Carlisle Cottages

The great historic Border city of Carlisle has many attractions including the fine cathedral, Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery, not forgetting the castle. It has a good shopping centre with the Lanes complex, which is complimented by a choice of designer shops and a traditional Victorian covered market. At night there are pubs, clubs, a multiplex cinema, restaurants, cafes and bistros and a ten pin bowling alley. Meanwhile the Sands centre hosts theatre, ballet and music ranging from opera to pop. Self catering accommodation in the Carlisle area includes groups of cottages, some specially designed with disabled people in mind, single cottages and houses, and country and town apartments. Most cottages are able to take up to four or six people but some are available with more bed space than that. Another option for larger groups is to rent two apartments or cottages on the same site.
