Fishing in the Lake District
Fishing in the Lake District, wether your new at fishing or a pro the lake district can cater for you.
The lake district area offers excellent fishing for all types of anglers fishing the lakes and tarns across the Lake District. The types of fish to be caught are wild brown Trout, Perch, Roach, Eels and Pike.
You will find that most of the National Trust lakes, tarns and becks can be fished if permits are purchased. However some waters are either private or for conservation, you are advised to seek information to where these areas are. On some waters fishing is free.
