Pippins Cafe Bar

Pippins Cafe Bar is the heart of Ambleside and is a great place for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a quick drink. With its yellow décor and slate tiles, the café has a bright and modern feel. Breakfast is served from 8.30an until noon and the 10 breakfast choices stretch from full English to a veggie option or the more decadent Belgian waffles or Danish pastries. On the main menu for the rest of the day, choose from a selection of pastas, 9- and 12-inch pizzas, burgers and salads. Pippin is also licensed, and you can choose from eight beers and 10 wines. There is even a good selection of seven individual teas and eight coffees as well as soft drinks including smoothies, milk shakes and ultra-fresh orange juice from a special orange juicing machine.
