Lucy 4

Lucy 4 is a wine bar and bistro, part of an Ambleside group that includes a cafe/restaurant, delicatessen, outside catering, and a cookery school. It's housed in a beautiful stone building with a bar on the upper level and a cosy fire below. The wine list extends to some 60 bins, plus champagne and beer, while the 'socially interactive' menu is tapas-based and aimed at informal dining, sharing plates with friends. If you're planning a function for more than 30 people, you can hire out the whole place.
